Why coaching, why now

You don’t need to navigate Coronavirus quarantines alone. Get support, so you can show up creatively and support others around you. I became a coach so I could support people in times of change and crisis to live a life without regrets, a life full of contribution and meaning. This moment is no exception.

The COVID 19 outbreak gives us an opportunity to practice showing up to life with spaciousness, compassion and creativity amidst hardship and uncertainty. My promise to you as a coach is to support you to navigate this time with clarity, focus, ease and grace.

Coaching for Creative Thinking & Leadership 

🧊Cool down your brain 🧊 enough to access your creative thinking — rather than operating from a fight, flight or freeze response. 

Creativity is an inherent capacity we all possess, which you can call forth and put to use towards what is most important to you. However, when we are under stress, our amygdala hijack’s our brain and limits creative thinking. Coaching can help you access your full capacity right now, which you’ll need to navigate this crisis in a way you’ll be proud to look back on. Our brains HATE uncertainty, and there is a LOT of that going on right now. In coaching you’ll learn to focus your brain on what you know to be true: your love for others, your desire to make a difference in the world, the positive qualities you possess that reflect who you really are ❤

While there is so much we can’t control at this time, there are things you do have agency over. Coaching will support you to develop an “internal locus of control” mindset, where you see ways in which you can be an author of your own experience in life, even during this challenging moment.

How is coaching distinct from other forms of support?

Therapy is about healing the past; coaching is about taking action.

Consulting offers expert advice; coaching draws forth your own expertise.

Mentoring offers wisdom from experience; coaching taps your own wisdom.

Training fulfills set learning objectives; coaching clarifies your own objectives.

I am not a health professional and do not give medical advice. However, I’ll support you to set forth practical action steps that align with your values, based on your own inner wisdom and creativity. 

Structure

6 55-minute coaching sessions, over 6 weeks, with practices and action steps assigned in between. Sessions by phone or video call.

In addition to 6 full sessions, you get one 15 minute “laser coaching” session with me and ongoing email and text support, as needed.


Rates: I stand for a world where everyone is supported 100% and no one is left out, and my pricing reflects that vision. I offer COVID-19 Resilience Coaching for Leaders on a sliding scale. 
Investment for package of 6 sessions plus text and email support: 

  • $100/session If you have your basic needs covered ($600 total)

  • $175/session If you are financially stable with some disposable income ($1,050 total)

  • $250/session If you are financially flourishing or have access to outside resources ($1500 total) 

You may pay upfront for all 6 sessions, or pay on a weekly per-session basis. I will be donating 10% of this income to mutual aid organizing efforts.

If you are interested in coaching and are unable to afford my rates, please reach out. We can explore a few possible options, including me offering a lower rate and/or referring you to other great coaching offerings, some of which are free! 

If you are just making ends meet, you should focus on making ends meet right now. I am not willing to charge people for my services if it would put you in financial strain or hardship.
